Our chlorination service is available to anyone, for latex clothing from any brand.

Chlorination Service Pricing

Prices are per garment.

  • Small items: €15 (masks, hoods, gloves, socks, stockings)
  • Medium items: €30 (skirts, leggings, T-shirts)
  • Large items: €55 (catsuits, full-body suits and more complex pieces, such as a long-sleeved hooded top with pockets)
  • Extra large items: €95 (sleeping bags, heavy rubber capes, bondage sacks, tents)
  • Attached accessories: +€5 / piece (attached socks, gloves, condoms)

10% off when you send 3 or more items. Minimum order: €25.

What we accept

  • No metal. We don’t chlorinate garments with metal parts such as snaps, rivets, eyelets, buckles, D-rings or metal zippers. Chlorine can make metal tarnish or rust and leave permanent stains on the latex.
  • Plastic zippers and trims are accepted, but they may discolour slightly.
  • Clean garments only. Please send your items washed, completely free of silicone and lightly dusted with talc. Items that arrive unclean will be cleaned for a €30 fee before treatment.

Worn garments

Over time, latex absorbs silicone, body oils and care products, and these change how it reacts to chlorine. We’re happy to treat worn garments, but we can’t guarantee the result. Possible effects include:

  • whitish patches where absorbed silicone keeps coming out of the material
  • glue marks becoming visible along the seams
  • colour changes, especially on light or transparent latex
  • existing weak spots becoming more visible or brittle

We inspect every garment on arrival and may decline items we consider too risky. Chlorination is permanent and can’t be undone.

Here’s how our chlorination process works

  • Get a quote: Send a description of the garment(s), and confirm that they have no metal parts, via email to info@rubberkiss.com. You can also attach a photo. We’ll provide a quote based on this.
  • Send it to us: Send the garment clean and dusted with talcum powder to our workshop (address on our Contact page).
  • Inspection: We inspect the item upon arrival. If we find any issues or unexpected details, we’ll consult with you before proceeding.
  • Processing: Once you accept the quote and pay the fee, the garment enters the processing queue.
  • Return: The finished work will be safely returned to you.

Please note: The average turnaround time for chlorination is 3-5 weeks. Although garments are treated individually, for an optimal workflow we must wait until a certain quantity accumulates before starting, so this timeframe may occasionally be extended.

What is chlorination?

Latex clothes are almost impossible to put on when dry, they are uncomfortable and grip the skin, so they are put on with talcum powder or silicone. Talc works, but it’s messy – silicone is great, and there’s a third option: chlorination.

Chlorination of latex clothing is a special chemical process that slightly alters the surface of the latex: it helps protect it from oxidation and makes it slippery enough to put on without any dressing aid.

When do we recommend it?

Basically, anytime you want to deal with your clothing as you would any other clothing. Also, if you don’t have much time to deal with latex, it sits in your closet a lot, you don’t have much time to put it on, or you don’t like talcum powder and silicone. In these cases, chlorination is a very practical solution.

When do we not recommend it?

If you like the soft stretchiness of latex, its slightly sticky rubberiness, especially its characteristic smell and sound, as well as the smooth slipperiness of silicone oil.
