Latex Repair Service
Our repair service is available to anyone, for latex garments from any brand.
Torn, Holed, Unglued or Broken Zipper? Expert Latex Clothing Repair
Don’t Throw It Away – Save It!
We know the feeling. A sudden move, a sharp nail, and your favourite latex catsuit or bodysuit is damaged. It’s heartbreaking, but don’t panic: a torn garment doesn’t mean the end!
What We Fix: a small hole can quickly turn into a bigger tear. Whether it is a broken zipper, a split seam, an unglued panel, or an accidental tear, our workshop can restore it with professional precision.
Brand-Independent Expertise As a dedicated latex manufacturer, we understand the material inside out. That’s why we operate as a brand-independent repair service. Whether you own pieces from Libidex, Simon O, Westward Bound, Atsuko Kudo, or a custom-made item, we handle them all with the same care and routine we use for our own Rubberkiss creations.
We also undertake the repair of chlorinated latex clothing.
Why Choose Professional Repair?
- Value Rescue: repairing costs a fraction of buying new. Save your favourite latex and extend its life.
- Avoid the Glue Trap: superglue and bicycle patches are the enemies of latex. They harden the rubber and leave rigid, brittle spots that often lead to new tears right next to the repair.
- The Right Technique: we use specialised latex adhesives and a professional bonding process, so the repair stays flexible, durable and ready to wear. Latex scars tell a story, but the fix itself will be strong.
Already tried a DIY fix? We can still help.
We can usually restore home repairs too, but please keep in mind:
- Extra work: removing old glue and residue takes time, so the final price may be higher than for a standard repair.
- Transparency: we always check the damage and send you an updated quote before we start.
Don’t risk your expensive gear – leave it to the pros!
Lifetime guarantee and paid repair service
All latex garments manufactured by us are covered by a lifetime repair warranty, as described in our General Terms and Conditions. This means that as long as the material is in a condition that can reasonably be repaired, the labour cost of warranty repairs is free of charge for you.
The prices listed on this page apply to our paid repair service.
Price Guidelines
Each garment is unique, so prices depend on the type, location, and extent of the damage. Exact prices are provided after a photo review or personal inspection. Unless otherwise noted, the guide prices below refer to a single hole, tear, or damaged seam.
Important: To cover processing and administrative costs, our minimum service fee is €25 per order (excluding shipping costs).
Common Repairs
- Inspection: Free
- Small hole repair (pinhole): €10 / hole (Note: If you only have 1-2 holes, the €25 minimum service fee applies.)
- Small tear (≤10 cm): €28
- Medium tear (10–30 cm): €45
- Large tear (>30 cm): from €65
- Bonded seam repair: from €35
Zippers
- Full zipper replacement: from €85
- Zipper repair (slider/puller fix): from €15
- Inserting a new zipper (modification): from €60
Package Pricing If a garment has several holes or tears, we always calculate a combined, discounted package price – we don’t simply multiply the guide prices by the number of damages. It’s always worth sending us photos so we can suggest the most cost-effective solution for your garment.
Additional Charges
- Urgent (Express): +30% (subject to capacity; small repairs can often be done while you wait, by appointment)
- Work on chlorinated latex: +50%
Here’s how our repair process works
- Get a quote: send a photo of the garment and the damage via email to info@rubberkiss.com; we’ll provide a quote based on it.
- Tell us what to look for: please enclose a slip of paper with each garment, noting what the damage is and where it can be found. If you’re sending several pieces, or one piece with more than one fault, this is especially helpful – it makes sure nothing is overlooked and that your garment goes straight to the right hands.
- Send it to us: send the garment clean and dusted with talcum powder, to our workshop (address on our Contact page).
- Inspection: if the damage is simpler or more serious than expected, we’ll consult with you.
- Processing: once you accept the quote and pay the fee, the garment enters the repair queue.
- Return: the finished work will be safely returned to you.
Please note: The turnaround time for repairs (3-5 weeks) differs from the standard production time stated in our General Terms for custom clothing.
Important Notes
- Send the garment clean, dry, and dusted with talcum powder. Otherwise, we’ll pre-wash it for a Pre-Repair Cleaning fee of €30 (see our Latex Care Service page).
- Prices include material costs.
- The fees do not include return shipping costs (domestic/EU/WW charged separately).
